The classics.
It’s all Margaret River, all small batch, all traditional Margies varieties.
Sourcing micro-parcels of fruit from small independent growers and single vineyard estates, we employ low intervention winemaking to create wine styles synonymous with the Margaret River name, under a contemporary, stylish package.
What do we mean by low intervention? The wines are made using a ‘hands-off’ approach. Minimal, if any, adds are used; wines are fermented wild with little or no fining & filtration of the finished wines. Minimal sulphur (preservative) is added for protection.
White wines are barrel fermented and aged, with both white and red wines seeing a greater proportion of new French oak than our other labels.
Under ‘mantra’ we make classic Margaret River styles such as Barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, albeit with the Amato Vino stamp.
